About

All my life, I have been obsessed with the tragic divas of Hollywood, true crime, and scandal.

Growing up in rural NC in the seventies and eighties, I lived for soap operas, the National Enquirer, and the Sally Jessy Raphael show.

I will never forget seeing “Mommie Dearest” and “Valley of the Dolls” as a young boy.  Both were life-changing events, and my art still revolves around them today.

My art has always celebrated Hollywood’s most tragic, high-gay icons and true crime’s most notorious headliners.

Painting these divas from the 80s and beyond takes me back to when I was a boy sitting in front of the TV with my mama and grandmother.

I am so thankful that through my art, I have found so many collectors who share the same love and obsessions that I do.
